IDA Executive Leadership Retreat
The IDA Executive Leadership Retreat is a deep dive intensive program that brings together a cohort of CEOs and Executive Directors from within the place management profession. The retreat will focus on essential practices for leaders to effectively navigate up, down and across organizational silos. Over the course of the week, leaders will have the opportunity to network and create valuable peer support systems.
Prior to the workshop, the facilitators will survey participants and tailor the sessions to address areas of interest. From the highest-level, executive standpoints, these sessions will focus on building trust by providing effective feedback and critiques, using new technologies effectively, motivating and working well with diverse employees, providing a range of perspectives on executive level leadership, and gaining understanding and “buy-in” from teams. Participants will have opportunities for practice, feedback and questions.
Who is eligible to attend?
If you are looking to collaborate with a cohort of executives, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. This program is for IDA member CEOs and/or Executive Directors who are currently employed by a place management organization. Consultants or vendors who provide services to place management organizations are not eligible to participate in this program. IDA is looking to create a diverse cohort of executives based on organization size, geographies, demographics and other variables. Space is limited to 30 professionals and attendees must be IDA members in good standing.

When, where and cost?
The IDA Executive Leadership Retreat will take place April 3-7, 2023, in Rancho Mirage, California. The program cost is $2,500 USD and includes expert facilitators, program materials, daily meals and wellness activities. Price does not include hotel, airfare, airport transfers or any other incidentals you may incur. IDA has secured a room block for attendees at a room rate of $279USD (+tax and resort fee) per night.
