As the President of New York City and San Francisco Bay Area-based MJB Consulting (MJB), Michael Berne is one of North America’s leading experts and futurists on Downtown and Main Street retail as well as the retail industry more generally. He is a regular speaker at IDA conferences and has served on IDA’s Board of Directors, including a term as the Vice Chair of its Executive Committee.

MBA, Executive Director, Downtown Dartmouth Business
Tim has led the revitalization of Downtown Dartmouth since 2012 with a focus on attracting new businesses, public art installations and events. He is passionate about downtown Dartmouth, its people and its potential. Tim brings over 20 years of economic development and community building experience to the position. He enjoys working with the community on placemaking projects and events.
Gina Cavaliere
Chief Community Impact Officer and BIZ Director, Downtown Detroit Partnership/BIZ
Gina joined the Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP) in 2015 to lead the startup and ongoing operations of the Downtown Detroit Business Improvement Zone (BIZ). As DDP’s Chief Community Impact Officer and BIZ Director, Gina oversees development of programs to support the Downtown Detroit business community in close coordination with the BIZ Board of Directors. She also oversees DDP’s Data and Safety programs.
