Our Vision

About the IDA Inspiration Wall

We’re all working harder than ever and days of the week are blending together. But when we take a moment to recall the successes we’ve had or small miracles we’ve witnessed, our passion to move ahead is renewed. Life coaches and mental health professionals recommend we embrace the reality of our current situation, take proactive positive steps to move ahead and recognize the accomplishments we make. So what motivates you to support your colleagues and stakeholders? Did something make you smile today? Have you experienced a recent success? Share what you’ve done since the start of the pandemic that has made you smile. Success is contagious. Rather than focusing on what is so difficult these days, contribute to IDA’s library of inspired actions demonstrating what can be done. Email us!

In Los Angeles…

… one member cherishes new opportunities with family bringing three generations together because “we’re all more available to one another, they’re called ‘COVID Miracles.’”

In Waikiki…

… leadership said “I see our crews out in the public areas, continuing to serve our visitors, guests, and residents without hesitation or change to their demeanor of the somber conditions – that is inspiring!”

In San Francisco…

… the Tenderloin CBD is proud of closing streets so kids could play.

In Saskatoon…

… they are calling them #COVIDAccomplishments, saying: “So many things we’ve learned (I’ve become a website guru!), done differently (let businesses outside of the street closure participate in the event), or invented on the spot (event planning never stopped – we just had to rethink it!) that leave you wondering… Why wouldn’t we continue doing this past COVID!?”
