Lauren Boston
Director of Communications, Georgetown BID (Washington, DC)
As Georgetown BID’s Communications Director for the past four years, Lauren develops and implements strategic communications and public relations programming to support the marketing of Georgetown and its business community. Previously, Lauren served as the Staff Writer and Manager, Public Relations, for six years at the National Apartment Association (NAA). She has been published in The Huffington Post and The Washingtonian, and her work has been recognized by Association Media and Publishing, ASBPE, Hermes Creative Awards and the Min Editorial & Design Awards. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Mary Washington and lives in Arlington, VA.
Jenny Starkey
Senior Director, Marketing and Community Relations, Cherry Creek North BID (Denver, CO)
Jenny Starkey provides strategic vision and oversees operational excellence for the marketing, communications and events department at Cherry Creek North BID. She has experience raising funds, fostering partnerships, engaging communities, and building trusted relationships. In 2018, Jenny was selected to author a Top Issues Council Report published by IDA regarding place branding in cities and was a 2016 Emerging Leader Fellow.
TJ Witham
Director of Communications, Times Square Alliance (New York, NY)
TJ Witham has been with the Times Square Alliance since 2014 and is currently the Director of Communications. Prior to this he made a tour of the New York City nonprofit arts community having come from Robert Wilson’s Watermill Center as the Director of Programs and Communications, as well as making previous stops at the New York Foundation for the Arts, The Alliance of Resident Theaters/New York, and Roundabout Theater Company. He is an alumni of the New York City Coro Neighborhood Leadership program and associate produced a recent theater work for all audiences at the New Victory Theater, Riddle of the Trilobites with the company he co-founded, CollaborationTown.
