Our Vision
Media
Welcome to the International Downtown Association’s Media Center, where you can find general resources for the media and the latest news and official announcements from IDA, the premier organization for urban place professionals shaping and activating dynamic city center districts.
IDA’s members are urban champions who bring city centers to life, bridging the gap between the public and private sectors. We represent an industry of more than 2,500 place management organizations, employing 100,000 people throughout North America and growing rapidly around the world. Our members are a multidisciplinary group working collaboratively to solve problems and stimulate place-based economic growth. They develop tools and strategies addressing a broad range of issues impacting how people live, work and play in cities.
