Erin Keller
Chief of Staff and Vice President of Development, NewTown Macon, Inc.
Erin Keller joined the NewTown Macon staff in July 2014. Since joining NewTown, she has enjoyed a front-row seat to Downtown’s renewed sense of community and growing vitality. Erin deeply believes that the heart of any community is the people! In her roles at NewTown, she leverages her zest for people and relationship-building talents for the betterment of downtown. She originally hails from LaPlace, Louisiana, but proudly calls Macon, GA her adult home. She serves as the Chief of Staff & VP of Development at NewTown Macon, where she manages downtown’s inaugural Business Improvement District, cultivating and maintaining a strong office culture, serving as a close advisor to the President and CEO, as well as leading capital campaigns, and managing annual fundraising goals. Furthermore, she oversees grant management and donor relations, and co-plans each of NewTown’s annual and special events.
Alex Morrison
Executive Director, Macon-Bibb County Urban Development Authority
Alex Morrison is the executive director of the Macon-Bibb County Urban Development Authority, an agency charged with planning and executing economic development projects in the Urban areas of Bibb County, chiefly downtown Macon. He also serves as the director of planning and public spaces for Macon Bibb County. He previously served in the role of Main Street Manager for the City of Macon and as assistant director of Economic Development for Macon-Bibb ECDD. As UDA director Morrison has led the creation and implementation of the Macon Action Plan and is leading Macon’s Reimagining the Civic Commons efforts.
Darius D. Maynard
Program Officer, Community Foundation of Central Georgia
In his role as Program Officer at the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, Inc., Darius D. Maynard works with the foundation’s donors to make grants to nonprofits through their Donor-Advised Funds. He also manages the competitive grantmaking programs for the foundation. Darius prides himself on being an active member of his community both civically and philanthropically. He currently serves as the immediate past chair of the Macon-Bibb County Board of Elections and sits on the boards for the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, Macon Arts Alliance, Communities in Schools of Central Georgia, and Two Hands International.More Information
