Retail Strategist, Downtown Works
One half of the dynamic duo at trailblazing retail consultancy Downtown Works, Kelly has more than two decades of experience in retail and restaurants. She has a track record of developing pragmatic, results-garnering strategies and implementation programs for a variety of places—downtown districts in large cities and small towns, individual urban properties, resort towns, and new-urbanist communities. Kelly has also worked one-on-one with numerous shops and eateries to enhance their store’s physical presence on the outside and merchandising/layout/display within, leading to sustained sales increases (and happy dances by business owners). She is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Commercial and Retail Development Council and has contributed to several of the ULI’s Technical Assistance Panels.
