IDA webinar programming, traditionally encountered at the IDA spring summits, continues to help members remain on top of emerging trends and rebuilding solutions. As we now look toward the Annual Conference, it is time again to invite IDA members to recommend new IDA Board candidates. Kathleen Rawson, President & CEO of Downtown Santa Monica, Inc., and Chair of the IDA Board, will reach out to member organizations inviting you to consider recommending a member colleague or yourself to serve on the IDA Board of Directors. Recommendations are due by August 6, 2021.
Additionally, the IDA team will be releasing an open call for committee volunteers this August, and I hope you will consider serving on one of IDA’s committees to cultivate leadership experience and further develop the urban place management profession. Whether serving as a Board or committee member, the personal and professional experience gained is unmatched.
