IDA Executive Leadership Retreat
The IDA Executive Leadership Retreat is a deep dive intensive program that brings together a cohort of CEOs and Executive Directors from within the place management profession. The retreat will focus on developing and strengthening the skills necessary to lead highly engaged and future-ready organizations. Over the week, leaders will have the chance to network and create valuable peer support systems.
The initial program design includes topics in the areas listed below. The cohort will have a chance to add consensus on additional topics before the start of the retreat through a survey and pre-meetup.

Who is eligible to attend?
If you are looking to collaborate with a cohort of executives, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. This program is for IDA member CEOs and/or Executive Directors who are currently employed by a place management organization. Consultants or vendors who provide services to place management organizations are not eligible to participate in this program. IDA is looking to create a diverse cohort of executives based on organization size, geographies, demographics and other variables. Space is limited to the first 30 qualified professionals and attendees must be IDA members in good standing.
When, where and cost?
The IDA Executive Leadership Retreat will take place February 24-28, 2025, at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort, located at 11111 North 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85020. The program cost includes expert facilitators, program materials, daily meals and wellness activities. Price does not include hotel, airfare, airport transfers or any other incidentals you may incur. IDA has secured a room block for attendees at a room rate of $279 USD per night (+tax, $25/night resort fee and one-time $14 housekeeping fee).
Reserve your spot now to be part of the 2025 cohort. Space is limited and registration is based on first come first serve for up to 30 qualified professionals. In order to register for the retreat, you need to either have an account in IDA’s database or you must create one. If you previously registered for an event in the past, you should have an account in the database.

Certification
By attending the 2025 Executive Leadership Retreat, certified Leaders in Place Management will earn 9 credit hours toward the renewal of their LPM certification. Please visit downtown.org/certification to learn more about becoming certified or recording continuing education units.
