Our current and past Mayors led a monumental effort to establish the Tampa Riverwalk, a 2.6-mile linear public space that has positively impacted Downtown for generations to come. Private sector leaders, such as Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik, have successfully bet on Tampa by investing and developing the new $3 billion dollar Water Street neighborhood. Our trophy-winning sports teams have created community pride and immeasurable economic impact and exposure to the nation.
